THSRA....WHERE THE ELITE COMPETE

NEWS

$100 sponsorships were due Oct 11th.  If you have not paid your $100 sponsorship, you must do so prior to the next rodeo in order to participate.  Also, remember that Dodge Raffle tickets are due at the November 15th rodeo.  The $50 state program ad and the $50 Bloomer Trailer raffle ticket are due at the December 13th rodeo

There were two questions that were asked at the State Board meeting that Cotton had to get clarification on at the National Executive Board meeting this past weekend:

1.  There was a concern that some schools were not getting the signed entry blanks back to the students in time to make their mail-in deadlines.  The question was asked if the contestant's grades could be printed from the school's website and attached to the entry blank in place of a counselor signing.  This is acceptable

2.  The other concern was the cost that some ambulance services were wanting to charge.  The question was asked if an ambulance had to be on the grounds or if an EMT would be sufficient.  Of course, an ambulance is preferred at rodeos but in the case that the cost is too high, you can get by with an EMT that has a backboard with the ambulance on standby if needed.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,

Susan

We will have a grand entry between the first and second rodeos each time. It is mandatory for all contestants to ride in the grand entry. We will use this time to make important announcements.

Student Event Directors
You are required to be in the arena during the entire event and must watch each contestant compete in that event. While you are competing or getting ready to compete, it is your responsibility to find another member to take your place as event director. Please take care of this in advance. Any questions or protest must be addressed to the student event director first. He/she will represent you with the adult director
